THE CHALLENGE

Developed a Privacy-Safe Wellness Platform for Different User Roles

MindWaves needed to support different user groups, including students, teachers, athletes, and coaches, without compromising the privacy of individual wellness data. Creating useful group-level insights while preventing exposure of personal emotional information was a key challenge.

The platform also needed to support scheduled check-ins, reliable notifications, and role-specific permissions within a single application. At the same time, the backend had to be structured to accommodate future features, including AI capabilities and advanced analytics, without requiring major architectural changes.

We developed MindWaves as a modular, role-based wellness platform designed to support individual emotional tracking and supervisor-led group engagement through a single mobile application.

The solution combined Flutter-based mobile development with Laravel REST APIs and an administrative panel. Privacy-aware analytics, invite-based Spaces, automated notifications, and offline-resilient architecture were incorporated to create a scalable foundation for future platform expansion.
