A Complex Platform Had Security, Integration & Stability Gaps

points4purpose had grown into a complex loyalty and cashback ecosystem involving multiple vendors, payment providers, card-linking systems, charity workflows, and regional websites. The inherited codebase contained redundant logic, exposed credentials, unauthenticated routes, and critical money-handling risks.

The platform also faced broken integrations, infrastructure overhead, limited deployment and monitoring processes, and an outdated Laravel foundation. A scalable architecture was needed to support both the US and Australian platforms without duplicating the codebase.
