Head of Digital Marketing


Description

At LN Webworks, we are seeking a Head of Digital Marketing to provide unified leadership, strategic direction, and execution guidance across our marketing function. This role is responsible for transforming marketing from activity-driven execution to outcome-driven leadership. The ideal candidate will combine strategic clarity with hands-on guidance, building team capability while ensuring brand consistency and impactful marketing across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Positioning Leadership
  • Own and evolve LN Webworks’ brand positioning in global B2B services markets
  • Define and document Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), core value propositions, and service-level messaging frameworks (Drupal, Shopify, AI, etc.)
  • Ensure brand and messaging consistency across the website, content, SEO, paid campaigns, and sales enablement assets
  • Act as the final authority on brand alignment and messaging direction
 

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Translate business and revenue goals into quarterly marketing priorities, campaign roadmaps, and channel objectives
  • Balance long-term brand building with short-term demand generation
  • Maintain focus by deciding what not to pursue
  • Continuously reassess priorities based on performance and market feedback
 

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional marketing team (SEO, content, paid, digital)
  • Provide clarity on roles, ownership, and expectations
  • Identify skill and capability gaps and address them through coaching, process improvement, and hands-on support when needed
  • Build systems, documentation, and workflows to enable independent team operation
 

Execution Oversight & Strategic Support

  • Guide execution without micromanaging
  • Review and elevate content quality, SEO direction, and campaign logic
  • Step in directly for strategy clarity, capability gaps, or experimentation
  • Ensure all execution aligns with brand, ICP, and business objectives
 

Insights, Measurement & Leadership Alignment

  • Define and track meaningful marketing metrics beyond vanity KPIs
  • Analyze performance to determine what is working, what isn’t, and what should change
  • Present actionable insights to leadership
  • Align closely with Sales and Account teams on pipeline, lead quality, and messaging effectiveness
 

Experience and Skills

  • 8–12 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in B2B services, agency environments, or technology/SaaS-adjacent businesses
  • Proven experience leading and developing marketing teams
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to provide tactical guidance
  • Experience aligning marketing initiatives with sales and leadership objectives
  • Comfortable stepping into execution when required and stepping back once systems are built
  • Excellent communication style that builds trust and clarity
  • Strong alignment with LN Webworks’ values of integrity, respect, learning, and service excellence
 

Good to Have

  • Experience in brand positioning for global markets
  • Exposure to multi-channel digital marketing strategies including SEO, paid campaigns, and content marketing
  • Familiarity with marketing systems, tools, and performance measurement frameworks
  • Background in creating repeatable marketing processes and scalable systems
