Fresh out of college in 2021, holding a Master's degree in Computer Applications, Nikita initially struggled to adapt to the typical work culture at an IT company. However, after some twists and turns, she eventually secured a position as a Junior Web Developer at LN Webworks.

Technical Proficiency and Learning

When she joined our team, she was still a fresher. However, her adaptability and eagerness for knowledge made us write about her today. Despite being unfamiliar with programming languages like Python and JavaScript Nikita embraced the challenge wholeheartedly. Not only did she master these languages, but she also ventured into the intricate realms of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Presently she excels in working with technologies such as React, Node.js, SQL Database management, and handling DevOps tasks—making Nikita nothing short of a versatile full-stack developer. She attributes her skills development to Mr. Gurinderpal, her team leader who showed patience throughout her learning journey.

According to a LinkedIn survey, 94% of employees expressed a willingness to stay with a company that prioritized investing their time in learning and development. Interestingly this finding highlights the fact that Nikita has consistently climbed the ladder in this two-and-a-half-year period.

Challenges of a developer

As a developer, Nikita carries a range of responsibilities. If you're also a developer you probably understand the value of self-learning. The constant pursuit of knowledge. But you know, when you’re trying to learn something new, and it pushes you in the right direction, it also starts to disrupt your rhythm. Nikita, however, does not shy away from putting extra effort into learning and putting it into practice. 

Currently, Nikita makes contributions to projects of significant importance within our portfolio. She expresses her gratitude by saying, "I'm grateful for the opportunities to work on these projects as they have taught me a lot. The excitement and motivation I derive from my work drives me to invest my time in learning and refining my skills."

Handling stress at work

If you ever wonder where Nikita spends her lunch breaks you'll often find her playing Badminton in our office backyard. Her teammates describe her as an avid player. She mentions that LN Webworks understands the importance of balancing work and leisure which has allowed her to be more productive in her tasks especially when working on projects that demand focus and attentiveness.

Empowerment and Independence

During our Diwali celebration, we honored Nikita with a "Glowing Star" award alongside a brand new Armani wristwatch. She previously received a “Shining Star” award last year as well.

Her active contribution has made it impossible for our directors, Pankaj and Shikha Kumar, to overlook her. During a conversation, with Nikita, we arrived at a moment where she expressed a sentiment that "Merely being independent is not enough, and I want to provide independence for my family too" This speaks a lot of her character and the driving force behind her work. 

Nikita's perspective reflects the sentiment of women breaking down barriers. As someone wisely said, "A strong woman stands up for herself. A stronger woman stands up for everyone " This resonates with the notion that empowering individuals, within a workforce leads to increased productivity and job satisfaction.

Team Collaboration and Leadership Recognition

In addition to preparing meals and sharing them with her colleagues, she brings good energy to her team as a whole. Nikita's success is not isolated; it is deeply rooted in the spirit that our team fosters.

Her dedication to teamwork has not gone unnoticed as evidenced by Gurinderpal's recognition of her journey. Team leaders play a role in shaping a work culture and Gurinderpal's acknowledgment of Nikita's potential underscores the significance of leadership support in employee growth.
