Gurtej's journey at LN Webworks is a testament to hard work, dedication, and the power of transformation. With a degree in Master of Computer Applications, Gurtej embarked on his professional career during his college days. In this blog, we will explore the incredible path that led Gurtej to become a valuable member of the LN Webworks team, handling overseas clients, managing stress, and balancing work, all while having the best time.
Gurtej's career started as a calling intern during his college days at PCTE. He was no stranger to the night shifts, which set the foundation for his impressive communication skills. In his calling job, Gurtej honed his client-handling skills, making him a valuable asset in the world of business.
After a recommendation from his colleagues, Gurtej took a leap of faith and applied for a Business Development Executive (BDE) position at his previous company. He previously didn’t have any experience in this field but with a year of experience, he eventually found his way to LN Webworks. At that time, our organization operated from a humble one-room office, allowing Gurtej to experience the intricacies of teamwork.
Gurtej's daily routine revolves around interactions with clients, With every task and interaction getting an official stamp of approval from none other than our directors, Pankaj Kumar, and Shikha Kumar. Notably, most of the clients he deals with have become long-term partners of LN Webworks. He has a talkative and spontaneous nature but that doesn't compromise his ability to stay patient, a crucial trait when managing overseas clients and handling tight deadlines. In a role where many would buckle under pressure, Gurtej has learned to keep his cool and has even found that it benefits his personal life. Dealing with his daily life stress has become much easier for Gurtej in his past years.
In the LN Webworks team, Gurtej works closely with his teammate Ankush Rana and team leader Akshdeep Kaur, and with our Directors Pankaj and Shikha Kumar. His strong observational and social skills play a pivotal role in building a fun and cohesive atmosphere. There is never a boring moment around him. Gurtej didn’t fully understand the importance of team building and mentorship before he joined our team. And he feels grateful to have built great relationships with his teammates now.
Gurtej joined the LN Webworks team as a bachelor in 2018, but his life has since evolved. He got engaged, and now he has a daughter. Despite these new responsibilities, Gurtej manages to fulfill all his household duties. He is a father, a big brother, a son, and a good husband. He attributes this ability to his time at LN Webworks, and he's grateful for it. Gurtej's willingness to step out of his comfort zone is also evident in his passion for travel. He got a chance to explore Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia and is planning a trip to Europe, hopefully in the upcoming years.
Gurtej cherishes the freedom to be himself and the openness of the work environment at LN Webworks. He actively organizes activities both inside and outside the workplace, but his true passion lies in connecting with people. Gurtej is a lover of Bhangra, singing, and folk music and is skilled with instruments like the Punjabi Tumbi and drums. To put it frankly, our office events are incomplete without his performances.
Gurtej is not one to hold back. He thrives on experiencing everything life has to offer and pays attention to the tangible aspects of his work. He's driven by challenges, and each new project provides him with the motivation to show up at work every day. Last year, his hard work and dedication were rewarded with an Apple watch, which he humorously calls "My time is running good."
When asked about his future plans, Gurtej confidently states that he has found his place at LN Webworks. He envisions remaining with the company in the upcoming years, ensuring that his inspiring journey continues to evolve.
